Cemetery of San Diego in the Historic Center of Quito, Ecuador, seen from El Panecillo. Inaugurated in 1872 in a location where fallen of the Battle of Pichincha (1822) had been buried, the cemetery contains the graves of numerous significant people, including five presidents of the Republic of Ecuador.
